Core Values

Welcome to another season friends, Spring is trying to make her presence known. For those of us in the Boston area it has been a very long and hard winter. When nature, business, health or relationships challenge us, it’s important to remember “core values”.

Thinking about this post, it called to me in many ways. I fell twice this winter, those falls,  coupled with too much snow shoveling hurt my body, especially my back. For the past several weeks I have been working on strengthening my core, and repairing my back. When your core is strong you are more flexible, and are able to withstand whatever may come.

This is equally important in business. From of a very early age in my professional career I made my own ” credo” or ” mantra”. I believed, that if I put my clients first, my company second -they would both take care of me.

Many of my clients are having a challenging start to 2015, much of that is due to the harsh winter and record breaking snowfall. I couldn’t make the snow stop ( although I tried using the power of the mind) but what I could do is support them anyway I could. We were all in it together and I needed to do my part to help my clients and company.

I am looking forward to Spring and a new season . I will take with me the reminder / lessons of this winter and keep my core strong.

Stay true to your “core” and you will be ready for any challenge that comes your way.

Happy Spring. Stay strong!
